Clarify Your Idea So Your Good Intentions Don’t Turn Into Chaos.

Movement without direction will only leave you drained and exhausted.

Welcome back to another Strategy Drop… your guide to stop overthinking, start doing, and finally see progress on the plans God’s placed in your heart.

I’ve been sitting with your messages from last week from and I just want to say thank you. Thank you for letting me into your process, your wrestling, your excitement. As I read through everything, I could almost feel the collective inhale of women who are hungry to build with God, but also exhausted from carrying too many ideas at once.

Here's some of what was shared:

  • “I think I have five ideas competing in my head.”

  • “I know what I want to help people with… but I don’t know which angle to start from.”

  • “My idea is clear in my spirit but messy in my notebook.”

And honestly...it reminded me so much of myself. Especially in the seasons where I had big vision, big calling, and big notebooks… but not much clarity. I’d have a Notes app full of ideas that could be a whole curriculum, an IG saved folder that felt like a Pinterest board of dreams, and 14 half-finished chats titled NEW IDEA that never made it past inspiration. It wasn’t lack of desire because I wanted what God showed me. It was lack of direction.

So when I saw your reflections, I felt that gentle nudge from Holy Spirit to slow down and help you choose what you're actually building.

That’s why we’re circling back to Step 2.Not because you messed up or because we need to start over, but because clarity is an act of kindness to yourself and a service to the people God has called you to impact.

So, before we can move forward into the rhythm and alignment of Step 4, we need to pause… breathe… and make sure the idea you’re building is the one God is highlighting right now.

Be sure to let me know which part of this week’s Strategy Drop hit you the most? Comment below and let’s talk about it!

Well are you ready to walk through this together? Let's get to building.

WORK TIME: 15-20 MINUTES

Step 1: Revisit Your Step 1 Outcome

Before choosing what to build, revisit why you’re building it.

Ask yourself:

  • What transformation do I feel called to lead right now?

  • Where do I see the biggest gap or pain point in my audience?

  • Which outcome has been confirmed through prayer, feedback, or recurring conversations?

If Step 1 was your north star, Step 2 is picking the actual destination on the map.

Step 2: Identify the Ideas You’ve Been Sitting On

Pull out the scattered brilliance:

  • your IG saved posts

  • your voice memos

  • your scribbled sticky notes

  • your journals

  • the ChatGPT graveyard of “Start Here” threads

Gather it all.Put it in one place.Don’t edit. Don’t judge. Just pull the ideas out of hiding.

Step 3: Ask the Only Question That Matters Right Now

“Which idea BEST leads my audience toward the transformation I defined in Step 1?”

Not:

  • Which one is the most fun?

  • Which one looks the best online?

  • Which one would impress people?

  • Which one I might build later?

You’re choosing the one that takes your people from where they are…to where God is calling them to be.

Step 4: Choose ONE Micro-Level Entry Point

Don’t choose the whole course, or the entire 12-week curriculum and please don’t build the entire ministry initiative.

Pick the smallest possible entry point into the transformation.

Here's an example for a Christian lifestyle coach:

  • a 20-minute session on “How to reset your spiritual rhythm when you feel disconnected”

  • a mini-guide on “Building a 3-step morning prayer routine that anchors your day”

  • a micro-workshop on “How to hear God for your next decision without spiraling into confusion”

  • a 5-day scripture meditation challenge on identity

Each of these are small, clear, actionable ideas. You can say yes to any of these without needing to rearranging your entire life.

Step 5: Commit to One Idea and Let All the Others Sit Still

This is the hardest part for visionaries but obedience requires discipline and focus is your spiritual strategy. Pick the one idea and let the others stay in the parking lot.

Since so many of you said you weren’t sure which idea to build first, I created a simple tool to help you:

Use this tool to filter your ideas through calling, capacity, and alignment so you can choose the one God is highlighting now.

Once you choose the idea, the next step becomes EASY because now you know:

  • what you're building

  • who it serves

  • why it matters

  • and what outcome it leads to

Everything you do moving forward will be in alignment instead of overwhelm.

Love, we’re moving and this time we’re moving with intention.

I’m proud of you. I’m watching you lean in and I feel the hunger and the holiness wrapped into the work you’re doing. Once you’ve chosen your idea, you’ll be ready for the next step and this time, it’s going to feel lighter, cleaner, and aligned.

See You Next Saturday!
