You're Not Stuck, You're Stalling: How Taking Action Unlocks the Clarity You’ve Been Praying For

I know what it feels like to be stuck or at least to feel stuck. You’re praying, journaling, replaying instructions, trying to make sense of what God said. You’re waiting for the next piece to fall into place.
But what if you’re not actually stuck? What if you’re just stalling?
We say we’re waiting on God, but sometimes He’s waiting on us. He’s already spoken and shown you the vision, we just haven’t moved.
Here’s what I learned while rebuilding KCL:
For me, it wasn’t that the vision had died. It was that I had stopped moving forward with the plan. When I did move, I second-guessed everything so much that I started building what I thought instead of what God said. So when the results didn’t show up, I assumed I hadn’t heard Him correctly. I didn’t realize how I was contaminating the process with my own ideas.
Here’s the part that really shook me: every time I asked God for direction, He said to focus on ministry-minded people. I knew He was right, but I kept putting it off. I thought I should target faith-based entrepreneurs instead. I just couldn’t see how I was qualified to work with ministries yet (because in my head, that meant churches), so I kept building for "kingdompreneurs". No matter how much I tried, the plan wasn’t working. I knew I had all the right pieces, I guess I had to realize that my fears, doubts, and insecurities were causing me to build the right things for the wrong audience.
That’s when it clicked: clarity doesn’t come before movement it comes through it. But movement without alignment will only take you in circles. I realized I had been moving; launching programs, creating content, building systems but I wasn’t moving toward the people God had called me to serve. I was putting energy into the right things, just for the wrong audience. That’s why nothing stuck, nothing flowed, and I kept feeling like I was spinning my wheels.
Abraham lifted the knife before he saw the ram. Moses moved toward the Red Sea before it parted. Peter stepped off the boat before walking on water. They all moved in faith, yes, but they moved in the right direction. They moved in alignment with God’s voice. Alignment is the difference between forward momentum and exhausting circles.
Wherever you are today — stuck, stalled, or just unsure, I want to call you higher: stop moving in your own strength, stop building for the wrong audience, and start stepping in the direction God has already marked out for you. Take the step He’s already spoken, and watch clarity and purpose meet your movement.

Big revelation means nothing without movement. Here’s your action steps to keep you building with God, not ahead of Him. We will break these down more over the next four weeks.
Step 1: Define the Outcome First
Stop overcomplicating and focus on the transformation you want your participants to experience. When you start with clarity on the outcome, every decision from content, delivery, and promotion aligns with that result.
Step 2: Pick One Entry Point
Don’t wait for a full program get started with the small and tangible. Put it on your calendar and commit to launching it this week. No overthinking allowed. The fastest way to clarity is through action. A small, targeted step lets you see what resonates without wasting time or energy.
Step 3: Build Around That Step
Every element of what you're building should revolve around moving your audience toward the outcome. Draft your mini-session or module, then run it by someone in your audience or peer group for feedback. Focused, aligned movement prevents wasted effort. When each step serves the transformation, your participants get results and what you're building gains credibility.
Step 4: Launch Micro-First
Don’t wait for perfect. Launch, learn, adjust, expand. Be sure to celebrate small wins and plan your next micro-launch based on what you learned. Moving without perfection builds momentum and teaches you exactly how to scale. The first launch is never the final product, it’s the compass for your next step.
So which one of these four steps do you think will launch you into momentum?
I'll see you next Saturday when with the next KCL strategy drop — “Stop Dreaming, Start Defining: Why Your Vision Needs a First Win.” We’re walking through the steps on practical steps to turn the big Kingdom-vision into clear outcomes that actually move you forward.
